Car parking is not permitted in downtown Manitou parking lots or along the streets during this event and cars are asked to be parked at 1675 Garden of the Gods Road to access the shuttle (cost is $5 for everyone 12 and over). The Manitou Springs shuttle will run throughout the event until 6:00 P.M. Shuttle Details.

The bike valet will be on the west side of Memorial Park in Manitou Springs from 10:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M.

Please retrieve your bike before 6:00 P.M. All bikes left with us after 6:00 P.M. will be collected and available for pickup by contacting PikeRide.

Curious about the origins of this quirky celebration? The Emma Crawford Coffin Races began as a Manitou Springs tradition in 1995, honoring Emma Crawford, who was buried atop Red Mountain in 1891. After years of harsh weather, her coffin famously slid down the mountain in 1929, inspiring the annual races that now celebrate her story in Manitou Springs.

Take a ride through Garden of the Gods without the car traffic! From 5 a.m. to noon on Sunday, October 5, Garden of the Gods Park eliminates motor vehicle access to the park, offering guests a unique experience in the park without cars.

PikeRiders can rent a PikeRide electric-assist bike from any nearby station and ride through the park. To have the best PikeRide experience in the Garden, make sure you ride a bike with a battery level of 87% or higher. See our curated Garden of the Gods Ride Map.

Join us in giving back to the community we love by donating just one to a few hours of your time from 9:00 A.M. - 12:00 P.M. on Saturday, September 27 to help our team clean and maintain our section of Shooks Run Creek!

Meet at the PikeRide headquarters (739 E Pikes Peak Ave) at 9 AM.

Bring yourself, your friends, and a smile! Water, snacks, and all cleanup supplies will be provided. Feel free to bring a sun hat and your own set of gloves if preferred.

All volunteers must register at the link below. Enter your name and email, click on the September 27th drop down, and check the box next to Colorado Springs - Public Cleanup at 1-129 Middle Shooks Run (Pikes Peak to Boulder), then scroll down to the bottom of the page to fill out the registration form and click the “Sign Up to Volunteer” button.

Join UpaDowna for the final weekly community bike ride of the season with the theme Diamonds & Denim! This ride is for all levels as we ride off from four rotating locations across Colorado Springs every Thursday from 6pm - 7:30pm.

Bring a bike or rent a PikeRide for $5. PikeRide riders must be 16 years or older.

Helmets are required and UpaDowna will provide you with a loaner!

Each ride is about 6-8 miles roundtrip depending on the route, all ages and abilities are welcome, and is a no-drop ride meaning nobody will be left behind.

Riders will get to enjoy post-ride refreshments with drink and food specials from our host sites: Buffalo Lodge Bicycle Resort, Goat Patch Brewing, Seven's Gate Taproom, & STIR at Wahsatch.

Cost: Pay what you can. At UpaDowna, we pride ourselves on accessibility for the outdoors. We do not want to let cost be a reason you cannot join our community! Check out our Season Pedal Party Pass rates:

Without cars, the park’s winding roadways beckon to cyclists, walkers, joggers, and dog walkers, offering the chance for a wide variety of user groups to join together, slow down and enjoy the splendor of this wonderful city park. Pedal Party with UpaDowna

Join UpaDowna for weekly community bike rides for all levels as we ride off from four rotating locations across Colorado Springs every Thursday from 6pm - 7:30pm starting in June.

Bring a bike or rent a PikeRide for $5. PikeRide riders must be 16 years or older.

Helmets are required and UpaDowna will provide you with a loaner!

Each ride is about 6-8 miles roundtrip depending on the route, all ages and abilities are welcome, and is a no-drop ride meaning nobody will be left behind.

Riders will get to enjoy post-ride refreshments with drink and food specials from our host sites: Buffalo Lodge Bicycle Resort, Goat Patch Brewing, Seven's Gate Taproom, & STIR at Wahsatch.

Cost: Pay what you can. At UpaDowna, we pride ourselves on accessibility for the outdoors. We do not want to let cost be a reason you cannot join our community! Check out our Season Pedal Party Pass rates:

  • Recommended Donation Season Pass: $20

  • Pay-it-Forward Season Pass: $25

  • Minimum Donation Season Pass: $15

  • Riders 18 years and under are FREE

  • Need a Bike? Rental bikes are available for a $5 fee at each location thanks to PikeRide. Rental bikes are limited and must be RSVP’d in advance. Please note the minimum age to rent a Pike Ride bike is 16 years of age.
