Skate in the Park at Acacia Park

The 2024 - 2025 Skate in the Park season begins Friday, November 15!

What better way to glide into winter than ice skating at the only outdoor skating rink in the city? Enjoy ice skating at Acacia Park from November 15 - January 31, 2025. Ride to the Acacia Park PikeRide station to save time parking and spend more time skating.

Tickets are $13, including skates. Children 4 and under FREE with paying adult and $1 off for First Responders and members of the Military with ID. No online or presale available, tickets a only available at the rink at time of session.

Special Events

Opening Night and the Holiday Celebration in Acacia Park - November 15 from 6:00 - 7:00 P.M.

Featuring performances by U.S. Figure Skating, visits with Santa, messages from sponsors, live music, and more.

“Real American Heroes” with Academy Bank - December 14 from 1:00 - 3:00 P.M.

Cycling is encouraged! Bring your bike or a PikeRide ebike, get a free drink token for the after party!

Car parking is not permitted in downtown Manitou parking lots or along the streets during this event and cars are asked to be parked at 1675 Garden of the Gods Road to access the shuttle (cost is $5 for everyone 12 and over). The Manitou Springs shuttle will run throughout the event until 6:00 P.M. Shuttle Details.

The bike valet will be on the west side of Memorial Park in Manitou Springs from 10:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M.

Please retrieve your bike before 6:00 P.M. All bikes left with us after 6:00 P.M. will be collected and available for pickup by contacting PikeRide.

Labor Day Lift Off Free Bike Valet

Join us at the annual Labor Day Lift Off at Memorial Park and take advantage of our free bike valet service! From Saturday to Monday, PikeRide will be providing a secure, convenient, and FREE bike valet for all festival attendees. Bring your own bike or a PikeRide electric assist bike and enjoy balloon sightings, entertainment, and festivities while saving time and money parking. Ride your bike to the event, and we'll take care of the rest!

Our valet will be available in the MORNING from 5:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. (Saturday, Sunday, and Monday).

Our valet will be available in the EVENING from 3:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. (Saturday and Sunday).

Please retrieve your bike before 10:00 a.m. for morning valets and 10:00 p.m. for evening valets. All bikes left with us after closing will be collected and available for pickup by contacting PikeRide.

It is free to park your bike at our valet, located in the Hillside Gardens parking lot. Admission to the concert series is $15 and there will be a variety of drinks at four full-service bars. No outside food or drink is permitted into Hillside Gardens, but feel free to bring folding chairs or blankets to enjoy the music.

Pedal Party with UpaDowna

Join UpaDowna for weekly community bike rides for all levels as we ride off from four rotating locations across Colorado Springs every Thursday from 6pm - 7:30pm starting in June.

Bring a bike, borrow a bike, or rent a PikeRide for $5 a ride. PikeRide riders must be at least 16 years of age.

Helmets are required and UpaDowna will provide you with a loaner!

Each ride is about 6-8 miles roundtrip depending on the route, all ages and abilities are welcome, and is a no-drop ride meaning nobody will be left behind.

This is a donation-based event. Recommended $15 donation for a season pass. Make a one time $15 donation and ride with UpaDowna for the Summer. That's $1.25 a ride! Minimum $10 donation. *Season Pass does not include bike rental.*

PikeRide will be hosting free Bike Valet at every Hillside Gardens Summer Concert Series event throughout the summer!

Bring your bike (or a PikeRide) and your friends for an evening of local music, vendors, and community every Wednesday from 6:00 - 8:30 p.m. (May 15th to October 2nd).
