WeRide is a $20 annual ebike share membership for anyone in Colorado Springs or Manitou Springs experiencing financial hardship. Proof of financial assistance is required to apply.
WeRide is a transportation equity program providing affordable transportation options for neighbors with unmet transportation needs. PikeRide launched WeRide in 2020 to make bike share memberships accessible to more people in our community after transitioning to operating under our own 501c3.
WeRide memberships provide participants 90-minutes of ride time a day with our ebike share for 365 days.
To apply for a reduced cost ebike share membership, applicants must meet the following qualifications:
Have proof of receiving financial assistance. Examples include TANF, SNAP, Medicaid, Unemployment verification letter, disability insurance, among others. Contact us if you have questions about whether your method of financial assistance is eligible.
Own a smartphone. Because smartphones are required to use the PikeRide app, participants must have access to a smartphone.
Have a valid ID. Examples include a drivers license, state ID, or DOC.
WeRide provides participants with access to our ebike share in Colorado Springs and Manitou Springs. eBikes must be rented and returned within our service area. If you have transportation needs in Colorado Springs outside of our service area, our ebike leasing program may be more suitable for you.
