 Volunteer Opportunities

Our nonprofit electric bike share relies on passionate and dedicated volunteers to keep our wheels turning and our community thriving. Whether you’re a cycling enthusiast or someone who simply wants to make a difference, we have a variety of volunteer opportunities to match your skills and interests.

Volunteer Bike Mechanic

Mechanics work on our fleet of ebikes in the shop to provide maintenance and repairs. Ideally, mechanics volunteer in 3 to 4-hour blocks for a minimum of 20 hours over 2 to 3 months. Immerse yourself in a vibrant environment with knowledgeable mechanics, great shop conversation, music, and snacks.

Whether you want to strengthen your career prospects or learn more about maintaining your own bike, this is a great opportunity to build skills and give back to the community!

  • Mechanical knowledge is preferred but not required

  • Must be 18 or older

  • Comprehensive training will be provided to deepen your knowledge of bike mechanics and equip you with valuable skills for your resume

Volunteer Models

Are you and your friends looking for a fun way to give back to the community AND get your photo taken?

We’re seeking individuals or groups of friends to volunteer as models for PikeRide! We want to capture the joy and excitement of riding our ebikes through fun lifestyle photos and videos. Have a blast, showcase your personality, and support your local nonprofit ebike share.

  • Everyone is welcome - we’d love to include every PikeRider who expresses interest!

  • Photo shoots are expected to last 1 - 2 hours, but we will be flexible with your schedule

  • Shoots will consist of capturing photos and videos of PikeRiders riding at a few different locations

  • Volunteers will receive a free ride voucher and free coffee or a snack while we capture lifestyle photos at a local business

Please let us know of your interest and provide us with your general availability. We will create a unique schedule based on the number of your group and availability. Reach out to inquire or ask additional questions, we look forward to hearing from you!
