What We Do

More Than Just Bike Share

PikeRide is a nonprofit electric bike share in Colorado Springs, Manitou Springs, and Old Colorado City, offering flexible and affordable transportation for all. Our reliable, maintenance-free electric assist bikes are designed for riders of all skill levels - ideal for commuting to work or community resources, showing visitors around, or getting to nearby attractions.

But we’re not just about making transportation easier and more enjoyable - we’re committed to building a stronger, more connected community. From providing low-income neighbors access to affordable transportation, to advocating for safer cycling in our city, explore all we do to create a healthier, more accessible community for everyone.

Our Mission

To elevate our community with a fun, healthy, planet friendly, and cost-effective way to get around.

Our Vision

To live in a city where transportation comes in many different forms, and bike share is available for everyone. Where our love for the outdoors is demonstrated one ride at a time. To create a community where people celebrate the journey, not solely the destination.

We’re on a Mission To Close the Transportation Gap in Our Community

Help expand our ebike share to Southeast Colorado Springs and empower neighbors with affordable, reliable access to opportunity.

Your commitment to our community’s well-being allows us to offer affordable ebike access, maintain and expand our ebike fleet, and advocate for safer, more inclusive streets for all.

And importantly, hardworking neighbors without transportation have been given life changing access to opportunities through the simple power of an ebike.

PikeRide launched in June of 2018 as a program of Downtown Ventures, the charitable nonprofit arm of Downtown Partnership in Colorado Springs. In 2019, PikeRide transitioned from pedal bikes to a full fleet of electric-assist bikes. This significant improvement expanded our reach, enabling us to better serve our community. During January 2020, PikeRide transitioned to operating under its own 501c3. Currently, PikeRide now operates more than 90 hubs, over 200 ebikes in the community, and has expanded service into Manitou Springs.
